So, like many things, I came to the Zelda fan-party much too late.
My current game console is a SuperNES, which tells you just how far back I am. (And still stuck on Link to the Past, although I have hopes of using some Let's Play videos to figure out just how to get past where I'm stuck again).
I am seriously considering asking for a Wii for X-Mas, because it makes more sense than trying to collect a bunch of used consoles. The main games I want to play (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess even if they made him a "righty") are on the Wii and/or the Virtual Console.
So if you have played any of the Zelda games on the Virtual Console, what did you think? Or any Wii advice/tips/suggestions?
And yes, I am fully aware that I have the eye-hand coordination of a dead gnat. What I lack in ability I make up for in sheer determination (plus Google searching and a very large and terrible vocabulary).
I know there are computer emulations, and that's still an idea, but honestly I like playing my video games on the TV and sitting on the couch. It's tradition.
[If this sounds familiar, I asked pretty much the same question on LJ.]
